Our commitment

Jerome Handy Wash wants every visitor to be able to use our website and, once we open, our laundromat. Accessibility matters to us, and we are building it in from the start rather than adding it later.

Website accessibility

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This site includes adjustable text size, a higher contrast option, and a reduced motion setting, all saved in your own browser. We continue to test and improve as we get closer to opening.

A physical place built to be accessible

As a public accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA Title III), we intend for our facility at 921 N Lincoln to be accessible. Our plans include accessible washers and dryers, accessible parking, and a clear path of travel into and through the laundromat.
